MotionProtect Outdoor pairs a passive infrared sensor with microwave radar to filter the false triggers that plague single-sensor outdoor PIRs — waving branches, drifting leaves, passing wildlife — so only confirmed human-shaped intrusions cross both detection layers and raise the alarm. It pairs with the Ajax Hub 2 over the encrypted Jeweller radio protocol at distances up to 1,200m line-of-sight, runs up to 5 years on four pre-installed CR123A batteries, and accepts an optional 12V external power connection for sites where you want to skip battery maintenance entirely. IP55 rated against dust and water jets, mounted on the supplied articulating bracket — covers up to 15 meters with a 90° detection arc. Ideal for garden perimeters, courtyards, driveways, parking lots, and warehouse yards where indoor PIR coverage doesn’t reach.
