How long does the battery last
The built-in rechargeable Li-Po battery lasts 6 months on a full charge. Recharge via USB-micro in ~3 hours, then forget about it for another 6 months.
Will it fit my door?
Tedee fits most Euro-profile cylinders — the standard in UAE and Europe. Not sure? TPS offers a free pre-install compatibility check at your door.
Does my existing key still work?
Yes. Tedee installs on the inside of your existing cylinder. Your physical key still works exactly as before — a perfect backup.
What if my Wi-Fi is down?
The lock pairs to your phone via Bluetooth, which works locally without internet. You can always unlock from the app when nearby. Wi-Fi is only needed for remote access from outside the home.
Is it safe? Can it be hacked?
