The smart plug connects to a 230 V~ power source and closes or opens the phase according to the command. The smart plug can withstand a load of up to 3 kW. This is enough to connect even the most powerful devices. In addition to temperature, voltage, and current protection, Socket Plus (type G) is equipped with arc fault protection. An electric arc is an electric discharge between two conductors with high current density and low voltage. The arc can instantly damage the device connected to the smart plug or the plug itself and cause a fire. Protection is activated immediately if an arc or spark occurs in the device connected to the plug.
